High 5: The making of the private label

Five Points Bottle Shop is working on their next private label wine which promises to be a High 5 quality for a terrific value. Here's how we made the original artwork for the custom label.

ÜberSun Imperial Summer Wheat Beer

ÜberSun Imperial Summer Wheat Beer from Southern Tier Brewery is a clean, full of flavor seasonal beer released this April, and yes, I've had a bottle or two.

On the bottle it says that it’s meant to be consumed wisely with friends between summer solstice and autumnal equniox. This idea delighted me so I sat on my front porch, kicked back and enjoyed. I'm know expert, but I found the golden ale interesting, not too 'wheaty',and just down right dreamy.

I think the 'wisely' refers to the 8% abv since the beer drinks deceptively light. Stop at Five Points Bottle Shop pick up a few.

OWEN'S CRAFT BEER WEEK BEER DINNER - MAY 12

I just received this information from the ClassicCityBrew.com newsletter and felt I had to share it with anyone who loves beer and especially if you have never been to a beer dinner before. So far the ones that I have been to have been a culinary delight in addition to the fantabulous beers. Try it, you'll like it!
